This 100% acorn-fed pork back fat is cured for 30 days with herbs and is produced from pure bred Ibérico Spanish Pigs. This is beyond excellence, rich and flavorful, it will add a new dimension to any dish. Our producer in El Valle de Los Padroches in Córdoba has 400,000 hectares of Holm oak forest. These oak trees produce acorns considered to be the sweetest in Spain. It is here they allow their pigs to roam freely.
Suggestion: Perfect on its own or paired with grilled bread, beans, or fruit. Slice thinly.
